Pick your side
Choose Claude or ChatGPT. Not sure? Choose Claude: the free account works for everything before class. Coding in the terminal needs a paid plan on either side (Claude Pro, or ChatGPT Plus for Codex).
You should see: You know which app you'll use.

Download your app
Claude Desktop from claude.ai/download, or the ChatGPT desktop app and the Codex app. Sign in with the account you chose.
You should see: The app opens and shows your name.
Step 2
Connect Brand Brain.
Pick your assistant.
Have Claude or ChatGPT? Nothing else to install. You sign in to Brand Brain with your email the first time; it's free.
The Claude Desktop app or claude.ai. A free Claude account works: it includes one custom connector, and Brand Brain is the one.
- 01Open Claude Desktop (or claude.ai) and choose Customize, then Connectors.Open Claude Connectors Opens in your browser. A connector you add there shows in Claude Desktop too.
- 02Tap + Add, then Add custom connector. Name it Brand Brain, paste the address below, and choose Continue.
- 03Sign in with your email. Brand Brain sends you a code; enter it and the connector shows Connected.
- 04Open Brand Brain in Your connectors and set each group of tools to Always allow, so Claude doesn't ask at every step.
- 05Open a new chat, type Start Brand Brain, and send it.
